Browns rocked as Bengals roll to 23-20 OT win

This one wasn't the barn burner as the match-up was in 2007, but it was just as exciting. The Bengals, fresh off a come from behind win at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers came to town at 2-1, feeling they should be sitting at 3-0, after losing to the Denver Broncos in their season opener on a fluke play. The Browns, in the midst of changes being made, were looking to jumpstart their season after being dominated from start to finish at the Baltimore Ravens last week 34-3, which found them…See More

Mangini era begins with an unmighty Quinn

It was a perfect day for football just off the shores of Lake Erie. The

Vikings led by future Hall of Famer Brett Favre, were just passing

through for what was supposed to be quick work on a team that was once

again rebuilding, or in another state of transition.

There were #10 jerseys everywhere you looked. It was the home opener, a

new identity, with more disciplined, smart, and physical players. Finally, the

face of the franchise, Brady Quinn set to lead… Continue

Josh Cribbs... Show him the money

With all the fuss that's been made about the self proclaimed King (with no

ring) James, keeping his options open and holding a city and loyal fan base

takes to make this his final destination of choice. We have a superstar that truly

wants to be here, and actually means it. The King will no doubt make more in

endorsements than he ever will playing the game, wherever that may happen to… Continue

successor. I wasn't impressed with his stint on New York. Herman

Edwards had success there too, and actually won a playoff game.

I do like the fact that he is at least in a position to have success. I'm a firm

believer that the… Continue
